ERP System Implementation & Integration for Growing Businesses
ERP system implementation and integration for UK SMEs. We consolidate finance, ops, and inventory into one platform — built to scale with your business.

Overview
As businesses grow, managing data, operations, and workflows across multiple systems becomes time-consuming and inefficient. ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems solve this by consolidating key business functions—finance, HR, inventory, sales, CRM—into one unified platform.
At A2ZTECH, we work with small to mid-sized businesses to implement and integrate ERP systems tailored to their specific needs. Whether you’re transitioning from spreadsheets or struggling with disconnected tools, our goal is to simplify and future-proof your operations. We take a strategic approach, identifying the right ERP solution and ensuring it’s set up to scale with your business.
This service is especially valuable for SMEs who want to reduce manual processes, gain better insights through real-time reporting, and support long-term growth through a centralised digital foundation.

The process
We start by mapping your current systems, operations, and business goals. From there, we recommend the most appropriate ERP platform and plan the implementation in phases—beginning with core features and gradually expanding to additional modules. Throughout the process, our team works directly with your team to ensure your data is secure, your team is supported, and your systems are fully integrated. The result is a powerful, all-in-one platform that saves time, improves decision-making, and reduces operating costs.
FAQs
What prospects usually ask.
How long does an ERP implementation actually take?
A focused finance and inventory rollout for a 25–50 person team usually runs three to six months from kickoff to go-live. A multi-module deployment covering finance, HR, CRM, and operations is more like nine to eighteen months. We always phase it: core modules first, then secondary ones added once the team is operating confidently on the foundation. How much does ERP implementation cost for a UK SME?
Total implementation cost varies with platform licensing, customisation, data migration, and integration depth. For a typical UK SME between 25 and 100 staff, expect £40,000–£200,000 across the project, plus ongoing licensing of roughly £20–£100 per user per month. Commercial platforms like NetSuite and Microsoft Dynamics 365 sit at the higher licensing end; Frappe or ERPNext sit lower with more upfront customisation.Off-the-shelf ERP versus bespoke or open-source — how do we decide?
Commercial suites like NetSuite, Dynamics 365, or SAP Business One bring out-of-the-box modules and a clear upgrade path, but you adapt your processes to the platform's assumptions. Open-source platforms like Frappe or ERPNext flip that — more upfront customisation, lower ongoing licensing, and you own the result. The honest answer comes out of discovery: which of your processes are genuinely unusual versus simply unfamiliar. Can you migrate our data without breaking month-end?
Yes. Data migration always runs in parallel with your live system, never as a hard switchover. We extract and transform historical data in a sandbox, reconcile balances and open transactions against the source, and only cut over once you've validated everything. Month-end and year-end cycles are explicitly designed around in the cutover plan — the live switch never lands inside a critical close.Which ERP platforms do you implement?
We work across the spectrum: NetSuite and Microsoft Dynamics 365 for businesses wanting an established commercial platform with a clear partner ecosystem, Odoo and Frappe / ERPNext for businesses wanting a more flexible open-source foundation, and custom modules where neither off-the-shelf nor existing extensions fit. The platform decision usually falls out of discovery rather than being decided upfront. How do you integrate ERP with our existing tools?
Most ERPs ship with native connectors for the obvious systems — Stripe, Xero, Salesforce, Microsoft 365, HubSpot, and the major eCommerce platforms. For the rest, we use lightweight orchestration (Make, Power Automate, Zapier) for simple flows and custom APIs where the data volume or business logic warrants it. The ERP becomes the system of record, not yet another silo. What happens if our team isn't ready to switch off the old system?
Phased rollouts and parallel running. The new system runs alongside the old for an agreed period — typically two to three months — with progressive data sync so the source of truth shifts gradually. Training and change management run in parallel, so by the time the old system is decommissioned the team has been working in the new one for weeks, not minutes.Do we own the customisations and configuration you build?
Yes — anything we build for you is yours. Custom modules, scripts, integrations, configuration, and documentation all live in repositories you own, with credentials in your name. The system is portable to another partner if you ever need to move on. The only lock-in is the underlying ERP platform's own licensing — and that's true regardless of who implements it.
